1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Here Is My CV (referred to as the "Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you ("you", "user", "candidate") and our platform, concerning your access to and use of our online resume builder, hosted portfolio links, candidate stories portal, and related services.
By accessing, registering, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease all access and terminate your account.
2. Account Registration and Credential Security
To access building interfaces, hosted pages, and dynamic settings, you must register a secure account. By registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete professional registration details.
- Maintain the strict security and confidentiality of your session password and login details.
- Take full legal responsibility for all content, resumes, portfolios, user stories, and actions originating from your account.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect or identify any unauthorized breach or access to your profile credentials.
3. Billing, Subscriptions, and Refund Policy
The Platform offers both standard Free tier access and premium options through one-time, non-recurring purchases known as the "Pro Pass".
- One-Time Duration access: Pro Passes grant access to premium features (including premium resume templates, ATS optimizer analysis, and customized links) for a defined, upfront duration (e.g. 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months). Access automatically returns to the Free tier at expiration without automatic recurring debit card charges.
- Strict Non-Refundable Policy: Due to the immediate activation and digital delivery of template styles, download assets, and AI ATS suggestions upon complete checkouts, we strictly do not provide refunds, partial credits, or pro-rata reversals under any circumstances. By initiating a purchase transaction, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that your transaction is final and non-refundable.
4. Candidate Content Ownership
You retain full intellectual property rights, copyright, and custody over all raw text data, profiles, contact information, career logs, and stories that you voluntarily upload, save, or publish on the Platform.
By choosing to mark a resume as "Public" or "Unlisted", you grant the Platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, host, cache, distribute, and compile your resume on personalized web links, search indices, and shared previews to recruiters and the public.
5. Acceptable Use and Zero-Tolerance Fraud Policy
You agree to use our platform solely to build and publish legitimate, accurate, and professional career portfolios. The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate and permanent administrative ban:
- Publishing fraudulent resume credentials, false academic certifications, or impersonating other individuals.
- Utilizing hosted links to distribute spam, phishing scripts, malicious code, virus links, or unauthorized advertising.
- Attempting to bypass security parameters, reverse-engineer proprietary template code, or execute scraping scripts against Platform resources.
- Spamming recruiters or employers with high-volume automated scripts powered by our direct email or sharing utilities.
6. Platform Rights & Administrative Authority
To maintain high platform standards and ensure recruiter safety, we reserve complete and absolute administrative rights to:
- Immediately remove, edit, or unpublish any resume, story, or portfolio that violates these Terms or is reported as misleading.
- Permanently delete the account and block the IP address of any user found engaging in fraudulent behaviors or violating our Acceptable Use standards.
- Deactivate, suspend, or terminate standard or Pro Pass memberships without warning, recourse, or refund if terms are breached.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties and PDF Services Availability
The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind. While we utilize modern caching architectures and isolated generator frameworks to deliver 99.9% uptime and render high-resolution ATS-certified PDF documents, we do not guarantee:
- That the services will be completely uninterrupted, error-free, or devoid of minor rendering variations across extreme browser viewports.
- That the generated PDF exports will guarantee employment, interview callbacks, or success with specific employer ATS parsers.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Platform or its operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, lost recruitment opportunities, career setbacks, data losses, or transaction failures) arising out of the use or inability to use the Platform.
